Drake Bells Claims He Was Sexually Abused as a Youngster Entertainer by Nickelodeon Discourse Coach Brian Peck

Former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell is set to speak out in the upcoming Investigation Discovery series "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV," alleging that he was a victim of sexual abuse by Brian Peck. Peck, who worked as a dialogue coach on Nickelodeon's "All That" and "The Amanda Show" while Bell starred in the latter from 1999 to 2002, was arrested in August 2003 on multiple charges related to sexual abuse involving a minor.

In May 2004, Peck pleaded no contest to the charges and was sentenced to 16 months in prison, also registering as a sex offender.

A clip from "Quiet on Set" previews Bell sharing his experience with Peck, with a press release stating that Bell will publicly discuss the abuse he suffered at the hands of Peck. Current representatives for Peck and Bell have been contacted for additional comments.

Furthermore, the series sheds light on the toxic work environments of children's shows in the 1990s and early 2000s, including those created by Dan Schneider, such as "iCarly" and "Zoey 101." "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV" is a four-part docuseries airing on Investigation Discovery on March 17 and 18, aiming to expose the underbelly of the industry during that era.

The series airs March 17 and 18 on Investigation Discovery.
